Brian Thompson
Head Coach & GM
Brian Thompson will lead the Stampede into the 2022-23 season, his first season as the team's Head Coach and General Manager.
Thompson, who is entering his fourth season of coaching in the USPHL, is a native of Westerville, OH. Prior to taking the helm with the Stampede, he spent the last three seasons as an Assistant Coach with the Columbus Mavericks in the USPHL Great Lakes division. During his most recent season with the Mavericks, Thompson helped to lead the team to a program-best 32-13-2-1 record and third place finish in their division.
In addition to over 15 years of coaching experience, Thompson played ACHA Division 1 hockey for the University of Central Oklahoma Bronchos, leading the team to their first ever ACHA Final Four appearance. Prior to his collegiate career, he played three years of junior hockey in the Central States Hockey League.
Away from the rink, Thompson resides in Corfu with his dog, Jack, after recently relocating from Central Ohio.

Ismael Ralsten
Scout
Ismael Ralsten is a passionate hockey scout hailing from Huntington Beach, California. Ismael’s love for the sport began at a young age when he started playing roller hockey at his local rink. Before playing NCAA hockey for King’s College and Bryn Athyn College he played for Islanders Hockey Club NCDC. Throughout the years of playing he has gained interest in scouting and has quickly found success.
Ismael’s expertise lies in identifying talent and potential in young players. His goal is to spot emerging talent and wants to help as many players possible to achieve their dreams of playing at the next level. His ability to evaluate players' strengths and weaknesses makes him a great asset to our organization.
He currently helps run a summer league organization ‘Mole Hockey Club’ and serves as an Assistant coach for the organization. Ismael’s vision is to help inspire the next generation of hockey players and give back to the game he loves.
